Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - y-pipe for long tubes.

Is there a y-pipe for long tube on a 3rd gen camaro....I can't seem to find for a decent price anywhere.....

yeah there is but their all expensive. Any kind of long tube for a third gen are a little pricey.

Have one made, it si the best way to go, they makers of the production units want way to much.

I was just goin to get the cheap painted hedman headers for like $150 from summit.....I guess for the y-pipe I'll have to get the muffler guy to help a brotha out lol. Btw what gears do you guys recommend for a 350 700r4 car? Im think either 4.10's or 3.73's...I've had good experiences with the 3.73's.

i have 4.10's with a th350 and a 8" converter. Its a blast on the street. I don't take in on long trip on the highway though. Depending on how much driving you are planning on doing, i would go with 4.10's. You do have overdrive.

I would say the 3.73 gears since you have a deep 1st gear in the 700R4, the launch isnt bad, the TH350 has a 2.50ish 1st while the 700 has a 3.00ish 1st gear.

Yes I have overdrive. I wouldn't be on the interstate much with it either. Except for Crusin the Coast and the occasional beach trip.

I found a guy on craigslist who is selling a GM 3.73 gear set for $100 bucks.

if the gears are new or in good shape, go for it.
