I picked up a factory 12 disc changer from a 00 SS for my 00 SS and I plugged it in and it doesn't work. The small light along the bottom of the inside comes on when the sliding door is open, but it doesn't eject the cartridge. I took it apart and loaded a CD in it and tried to see if it would at least read it and nothing. The car came from the factory with one and I'm using the factory connector to power it. Any ideas?

Dunno...CD's installed label side down in the cartridge?

Yeah, the lable was down, but it acts like it's not even getting power. It won't eject, read a CD, or make any noises as if to sound like it is operating. I had to manually eject the cartridge from the inside to load the CD and again to take the CD back out.
