ok I realize this is prob the wrong section but ive tried 3 other times in other sections to get some help figuing out my comp ratio.

ok it is a 2000 ls1 with 60cc 5.3 heads on it with 2.02 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust

I notched the pistons with both a 2.02 cutter and a 1.60 cutter both cuts are .118 on each piston for both the exhaust and intake valves. can anyone tell me what the compression wound up being?

Is that .118" depth cut into the piston? What's the radial clearance (diameter of the valve relief)? I don't know the formula to calculate the volume of a valve relief shape like that, but it may be enough to guesstimate what it is...or you could cc the piston.

Assuming:
3.898" bore x 3.622" stroke
3.910" x .052" gasket,
the piston .007" out of the hole
2cc valve releifs
60cc chambers

...you're looking at about (779.9/70.86) 10.99:1 CR.

yes .118 depth 2.02 cutter used to cut relief for intake and .118 depth cut for exhaust 1.60 cutter used for these.
