Here's a video of my third run - got 1st in class. The car felt really good on this course - using kumho ecsta xs 275/40/17 tires - these things are amazing. I was learning on the stock goodyears and of course going to these are like night and day. The rear just sticks in the sweepers...

Cool video, I wish we could of seen the interior to check out the rpms. :)

Does anyone know what camera has the g meter built into it? I saw a video a while back where the camera shows how many Gs you pull, just like Forza! haha!anyhow that would make a nice gift.....

you think ecsta xs are night and day? try a real r-compound.

I would love to try an R compound. My 10-year old goodyears were all over the place - it was fun, but just not very competitive.

Doing it yourself is always much more fun than watching a video of it. I've been autocrossing for 35 years and every run is still fun.

It looks much slower on camera or as a spectator than it does inside the car. Must be nice to have a big lot to race on... our regular location is only ~1800sqft.

i went from racing in a giants stadium lot -at least 10+ acres- to a lot you could throw a ball across in 2 steps. what a difference. some times we could top out 2nd gear at giants, which is around 70 for us. at the new lot, youre lucky if you ever hit 40. if you had the traction, you could do the entire course in 1st.
