F-body Beach Week Car Show It is a go at Burky's on Saturday !!! Please post up or pm me as we will do a top 10 of any G.M. car for this year ... Yes i'm driving 4 Hours !!! Cruz-in Friday at Burky's and Car Show on Saturday ... lets make this happen ...Vettes , GTO's , T/A's , Camaro's , ALL G.M's ....bring'um all and lets have fun ..i tried to post in all the F-Body Beach week threads ..

I've also heard that a photographer will be there on Saturday. Taking pics and will be submitting them to a few different publications.

planet hollywood was not answering phone calls about the car show, so it was cancelled. this morning, terry, tim and myself were having a phone-a-thon ad we are going to try to make this happen. we cant let this thing die like it almost might have. hawksthirdgen is going to help with sponsoring the event and there have been 27 trophies ordered. there will be classes for all GM vehicles.

it looks like the only thing we will could use for the show is some stereo equipment and music, althoguh that is not a must. if its a success, we'll take on the show every year so it doesnt die out like it almost did this year. dont worry about juding or the small details, we have those taken care of!

more details to come later tonight as far as price of entry, class info, exact times, etc. (it will be no more than $10, all profit will more than likely go to a kid here in the upstate with luekemia (sp)

we really hope everyone can still come on out to this like was origanlly planned for planet holloywood. please bear with us, as we are tryin to get this thing going in less than 1 week.

we are glad you guys got the car show going. Everywhere we were trying to host it was a pain in the balls! Chevsscamaro67 was trying to pull this together after another group decided they didnt want to do it anymore so its hard to swap things off. Hopefully this will be a great turnout and a great time as usual.

Zeus is still together. We just all have a lot on our plates recently. Some of us have been busy with shop stuff, some of us others have had a lot going on in school these past few semesters, and just a bunch of random little things. I will talk to some of the guys, and see if any of them can coming down though. Any estimates on how many people might show up?

not sure...it could be 40 and it could be 100 we dont have any way of knowing since we planned this thing in one week. after reading threads tho, it looks like we have people from illinois, virginia, louisiana, flordia, groerga, north carolina, and other places saying they are comming. im hoping we hit triple digits....im sure the zues crowd could boost those numbers a lot! the entry fee is VERY small so all ya need is a tank of gas and a free day!

it was a fun deal. a huge turnuot wasnt expected bc it was cancelled all together as of 6 days ago. it was just our attempt at trying to save the event for future years bc it almsot didnt happen at all this year. thats why we opened it up to all GM to try to get more cars to show up. may have hurt some peoples feelings, and we know that by the body language some people felt they needed to show during the awards, but who cares. it almost died, and it didnt, so thats all that matters.

we raised $427 for little 2 year old brandon that has luekemia from greenville, so thats all that matters. we really appreciated the generosity people showed with donantions and buying 50/50 tix. one guy gracioualy donated a $50 bill, and thats what its all about. none of this was pocketed...100% is going to the little boy and thats awesome.

also, thanks so much to Hawks Third Gen and Matinstream Customs for stepping up and sponsoring the awards and door prizes! ill try to get pictures up from the event. most of the award winners left before we could get their pictures with their cars, but most cars were snapped!

it was a blast and went very smooth ... can't wait til next year and maybe we can all go ... and yes i was selling the crap outta those 50/50 tickets ...thanks to all who bought .. 412.00 and half went to the little boy ..our prayers are with him and his family ... i thought that was pretty good considering the amount of cars we had ...it was nice to put some cars with some faces or vise versa , lol... all n all it went great ... big thanks to Bethany, Codey , Terry , Kyle , Bruce @ Hawks and Barret @ Mainsteam ... oh and Burky's for letting use his parking lot ...hope everyone made home safe as my windsheild didn't .. :-( Terry threw a rock and broke it )-:

ill post up the pics i took soon. it was a fun day. my wife and i are looking foward to next year. i think yall did a great job puttin it all together in such a short notice. id like to see the clubs from around here wit fbodies help for next year. i know we at all american muscle are going to pitch in.
