Tools & Fabrication - Engine lifting

I just got my first LSX engine and have been moving it around via the accessory bolt holes...is this OK or do I need something special like a manifold plate? I have not seen any issues yet...THX

I am assuming that you mean the holes in the ends of the heads? If so that is perfectly fine, just make sure the chain is not pressed tight against the intake or anything plastic.
