As stated above.

LS3 plus and M6 would be fun. I would kind of like the space to be honest. The new Camaro is too big for only two doors.

Lutz shut it down.

It actually sounds like Lutz was veto'd.

Too bad...

Lutz shut it down.

What? I thought he said they were keeping it as a chevy?

How about "2010 Camaro" since the G8 is the chasis platform that the Camaro is built on anyhow? Haven't been able to positively confirm this yet, but it's what I've been told by two sources.

It is similar and based off it but not entirely the same. They did modify it quite a bit. Although I still think the Camaro should have its own chassis design from ground-up, might weigh less that way.

+1.

Diff wheel base. Slightly diff drive train. They redid the suspension. Completely diff factory than the G8 so you know its going to have diff QC.

Fucking bean counters. They drove this company into the ground, and now they're throwing chains around its corpse. Stop letting the accountants make all the decisions. We've been down that road before and it ended in chapter 11. Let's not travel down the same road lest it end in chapter 7.

Lets call it the G-8. It's already established. The existing G-8's perhaps might not dive so much in price; if Chevrolet calls the Old G-8 a G-8. :D

The question is - will the government owners of GM - allow such a car to exist in the new GM? The old G-8 really didn't sell. Why the hell carry over a car that didn't sell?::devil: One with poor MPG!!:chug:

 2-1/2 days until the next track date

I agree. But it they should keep the G8 look.

They would if they simply brought it from their Arabian lineup.

This would not be a rebadge as it's already a Chevrolet.
