Stereo & Electronics - 99 camaro, want to add 00-02 steering wheel and airbag

i have a 99 z28, and would like to add 00-02 steering wheel, so i can have radio controls. does anyone know if this is possible, easy with maybe newer column.
i know the t/a's had radio controls in 98-99.

Im not sure if you would have to replace the HU, the other thing you might need is the harness

im in the same boat right now. i dont have a stock hu tho so i have to buy the pac adapter. i already have the harness, probably just gonna play around and see what results i get

actually 93-02 and from 95 on the steeing wheel is the same.

damn forgot about the LT1 birds

I have a 1995 Bird and my original steering wheel was pretty screwed up. Last month, I purchased a steering wheel from a 2002 Bird. The 2002 version leather wrap steering wheel was a little "different" but my "old" 1995 original airbag bolted right up to the 2002 steering wheel. I did not want my steering wheel controls so I "deleted" them from the wheel (I am buying a pretty nice Pioneer touch screen car radio / head unit). Bolted right up with no problems!

Not sure what is needed but it is most certanly possible to do it. My friend has the entire interior from an 02 Camaro in his 99. Good luck!
