I purchased a used SLP Underdrive pulley from Jeff Streeper, which he described just having light surface rust.
He shipped very quickly which was nice, and all was well.
Once I went to install the pulley I looked it over and found three problems:
--A bolt stuck in one of the screw holes: I tried to drill it out, no chance as it is high grade, not to mention it will be nearly impossible to remove the pulley with the pulley threads being damaged.
--Belt guide bent
--Significant heat marks on one side of the pulley.
He mentioned the cosmetic issue of top rust, but left off the stuck bolt, bent belt guide and that heat was used. He mentioned the very thing that most would expect with a used product, but left off all the problems that he created.
It may be usable or it may not be, I built and installed a brand new engine and have no intentions on using a mangled pulley. If he had been upfront and honest in the original advertisement I would have never bought the pulley.
