Special Edition Vehicles - 2002 Firehawk Question

I need some help I have the VIN # to a 2002 Firehawk. It is part of an estate sale so those in charge of selling the vehicle have no idea what options the Hawk was fitted with from SLP. Can anyone help me out if I provide the VIN#?

call slp with the vin and they will tell you about it

Go look at the passenger side door tag for the SLP options.

I know about the SLP tags but I wont see the car before hand. Im trying to figure out the options before I make the trip to look at it. The guy who is selling it has no idea whats going on since it is an estate sale.

Now that I have the build # and options the car recieved I am trying to break it down but the list I found on firehawk.org wasnt as detailed for 02 Hawks. Does anyone have a means on breaking down the car by options to see how rare it is. I did it with a 2000 Firehawk I almost bought but the 2000 list is much more specific than the 2002 one on firehawk.org. Thanks to bluehawk for helping me figure out the first part of my quest.

There are no good details like that on the 2002's
It seems that as soon as they were done making them, no one spent the money to keep good records anymore, ...
There is something minimal, somewhere, ..., but no good details like the previous year numbers you have seen.

Yup, the only way to effectively find out what options the car came with is to call SLP in Toms River, NJ, or if you look at the SLP Options sticker on the door jam that should also tell you. good luck

I'm not sure what you're trying to figure out. It's a 2002 Firehawk that the owner thinks is what a regular Trans Am or even better a base Firebird? If so it sounds like you're already buying the car at a great price. With that in mind along with now knowing its real, what's the hold up? If it's a good deal go get it! A Hawk is rare enough. Beyond that nobody really cares unless it's a rare color, a Formula bodied Hawk, a convertible, or has one of the SLP special rear spoilers.
