I am thinking about installing hardwood floors in my house and was wondering if it would be worth while to rent one from home depot or just buy one from harbor freight? It would be 3/4" solid prefinished wood.
Thanks

I bought the harbor freight one when it was on sale so I could do the job at my leisure. It actually works better than the beat up one I rented for the previous job.

Did you use the nails or staples from harbor freight or did you buy them somewhere else? Did you have any issues with it jamming up?

I helped you out and found a Power Nailer rental near your location on your name though it wouldnt copy the link so youll have to do it again yourself. Best guns there are and their power cleats are much better than staples

I did my tongue and groove front porch by drill and screw
(R1 bit stainless screws). Tedious, but that shit ain't pulling
out, nohow.

Thanks for the help. It looks like it would be much cheaper to rent a better one then buy a cheap HF POS.

check with the local lumber yard. Mine lets you use the nailer if you buy the flooring from them
