Pretty good. I posted mine in the convertible time slip sticky above a long time ago, twice, and still hasnt been updated. I dont think this section even has a moderator.

you have a roll cage? I know I need one now, but I REALLY dont want to do that to this car, so I am unsure.. I guess I just keep going back until they pull me off the track!!

No cage. I race a Thunder Road Raceway here in Gilliam La. I only go on test and tune days. I run full slicks, so far they havent said anything. Well, last time he did ask if I had a ds loop, I said yeah so he said its all good. Really just depends on the track. Nice car btw, mine is identical, except its an 01

I just looked at your slips. You get those 60fts down a tad and you will be in the high 11's as well. I was contemplating doing a cage here a few months ago so they wouldnt kick me out. But I plan on selling the car in little less than a year, so I just keep pushing at the track, faster and faster and they dont say anything to me. When it was under different management, I did see a friends ls7 c5 vette go 9.9x's, it was a vert and nothing was said. You can always do a 6pt with swingouts and from what I understand are legal at the track, I do know the rear crossbar being removable is not. I was looking at swingouts when I was pondering getting one.

yeah, I just dont like the look of a vert with a cage, ya know? Its kinda a huge waste to me. I love racing, but I am just going to keep building my 72 Nova as a drag car, and just keep this as a fun fast street car.
I feel like I "needed" that 75 shot to get the tires to hook, but then again, I just have a 10 bolt, and I am scared to dump it too high, because I want to drive home, ya know?

Yeah, I know the feeling,...but nothing quite feels like a 6500 rpm clutch dump:drool:
