Considering a G8 GT or GXP after realizing that getting a 2010 Camaro was just a bit too impractical with a family...and the other car being my wife's already too tiny 2007 Lexus IS350. Just thinking ahead and wanted to know the widest wheels/tires you can get on the rear? I'm pretty sure i would be upgrading to at least 20s. The 19s on the GXP are actually very nice, but just in case I end up with a GT due to availability/price, I wanted to weigh options ahead of the purchase. I would like to go with maybe a 20x10 or 20x11 in the rear. I'd love to see pics of your rides with wheels, too....

Thanks in advance...

I hear that.

Are you looking for the widest wheel with modifications or are you looking for the widest wheel that will fit with no mods + won't rub?

Would be a shame to trash such an awesome car..... What is the biggest you can fit without tearing stuff up and no chance of rubbing?

275/35R19?

Sorry to hear that you haven't gotten a response on the widest wheel / tire combo for your G8. No mods.

thank you for supplying this info on your GT. Looks awesome!!

I am guessing that you were able to do this on only the rears? Any rubbing at all?

only rear. the only time tires will rub (barely on the inner fender) is when the tire off ground completely, which I doubt I will do any stunt in the near future.
