Im putting an 04 LQ4 into my 92 S10 which has OBDI. Should i be worried about anything besides the emissions testing? Ive got all that covered. More worried about if they want to inspect it.

They shouldn't even be popping the hood open, should be just the sniffer.

To do it properly I think you have to get the vehicle inspected by the washington state patrol and then the vehicle falls into a different category. You'll then need to pass emissions for the newer of the two chassis/engine. So in your case, you'll have to pass emissions testing per 2004 standards. But that's only if you're going to do it the "legal" way. Otherwise just run it through emissions and see what happens. :)
