Military Hotrod Club - Medical discharge question

Good news - I got the job I wanted in the air force. 1w131. Still waiting on bmt date.

Bad news - I think I might have hypothyroidism. If I say something now, will they just drop me? If I dont say anything and am then diagnosed later on and they find out then I could really be in trouble right?

I dont know what to do. Im not sure I have it yet, need another test. But it is suspected.

I'd find out before your killing yourself with the worring. If you are dianosed with it then yes say something about it. When I was a MTI we would get kids all the time with Medical conditions they didn't reveil during MEPS or with their recuiter. The Goverment could charge you with fraudulent enlistment. I never seen them actually charge anyone with it but have watched people chill in the 319 TRS (where we keep trainee's that are broken either physically or mentally) for up to 5 months waiting to be discharged. Not a fun time.
