I sure do like Nitrous Outlet's stuff. I don't have any G8 experience...but I have their 90mm plate on my Firebird and it works very well. Plus, it sure is hard to beat their customer service.

EDIT: Call the phone number in minytrker's sig below me...all your questions will be answered.

Thanks! I have added them to the list for all of the parts I am trying to put together.

Is the correct size for the LS3 90 or 92 mm?

Two stage plate worth it?

Don't know about the size...but as far as single or two stage: It depends on what you want to do. Two stage is a little better if you street race a lot and want to be able to fender someone; or if you want to have two different "shots" you can pick from. However, if you're gonna use it at the track mostly, I'd go with a single stage and an FJO mini progressive. That, coupled with a Lingenfelter LNC-002 to pull timing (and maybe a stand alone fuel system) would be one helluva killer setup! I have a two stage 90mm plate...and second stage is blocked off now because I never used it.

I guess everyone likes their own thing...but I don't really like or feel the need for a two stage. Also...if you're using a plate, keep it mind that ~300hp is going to be the limit you can spray without choking the car.

I seriously think you should consider the HSW Plate, take a look at some the videos if how it spray's, it's pretty nice.

G8 is a 90mm. Unless you're running into traction problems I'd just leave it as a single stage. There are also a lot of features in our microEDGE controller that can help with traction as well. Such as multi gear lock outs and the + version offers progressive control. Let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to help.

Thanks!
