Well went to the track Friday to see what the G8 could do now that I have a Street tune and CAI. Needless to say I was very happy. I only got a few passes before the rain came down and ran us off.

1. 13.293 @ 104.13 w/2.073 60ft.
2. 13.254 @ 105.41 w/2.045 60ft.
3. 13.209 @ 106.39 w/2.047 60ft.

I was running Fbody 17x11 on 315 drag Nittos and I was still having issues hooking. Started at 30 psi and ended up running 16psi on my last run. The last pass was ran in manual mode and held 3rd gear through the traps. I think it still has more mph in it because with those tire the overall diameter is smaller than stock and I was running out of gear but did not want to shift into 4th. So I pretty much Redlined 3rd gear on the last pass.

Do you happen to know the offset of your fbody wheels. I'm looking to get the same type of setup. Thanks!

I'll find out, but I did have to run a 5/16 spacer to clear the bottom a-arms. It was rubbing a little every time I would launch, but cleared once I put the spacer.

Never mind found your post when you had them installed. 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 right?

Great times! How does it shift in manual mode with the tune? I'd love to shift mine that way for messing around, but the delay always kills it (stock rev limit doesn't help either :D).

Yeah there is still a delay in shifting manually even with the tune so i shift 500 rpms before. That being said i feel that my car pulls all the way to 6500k so I shift at 6000k in manual mode. When I was doing this I cought a 3rd gear scratch with the 315 drag nittos.
