Go for it dude but know that in alot of cases dropping you contract dosent look good. Not in all circustances but in most of them it shows a lack of commitment and that is something that is not a desired trait.

What are you talking about?
The SF recruiters dont care what your MOS is. Sounds like you making excuses. Dont bring others down with you.
Im in 10th Special Forces (Airborne) on third deployment. 2nd with group.
If you're at bragg, you should have PLENTY so people in the SOF community to ask about SFAS.

Yeah I dont hear to much about people having a hard time getting to Selection no matter what thier MOS. Well those are people that havent already droped thier contract anyway.

Do it bro but go for 18Bravo!! Fuck everything else. Thats my opinion. unless your a lt. You dont want com, demo, or medic. Go for the Gunner. Either way its 2 six man teams out there and wouldnt you rather be the one with the baddest guns!? I would!!

Wow dude you really have no idea how SF works do you. So tell me why do you not want to be a C,E, or a D. And there are no LTs on a ODA. A huge petpeeve of mine is people who talk about things they dont know anything about.

So how did it go. Did you get selected? I would have to say though there is nothing wrong with coming in first as long as you are consistently one of the top finishers. There is nothing wrong with excelling and doing better than others But coming in last yeah that is not a good idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that once you voluntarily dropped (quit) you were considered "ineligible" or "unfit for SF".

I have heard that some guys that drop thier contract before they get to selection can sometimes come back in. Now if they actually quit at selection I have never heard of them being allowed back in and I hope they never are. Quiting is not something that should ever be allowed near this community.

If you can do it then do so-the reasons why you had to break any contract dont matter. for the bitchassness from other people who may be offended by this move-screw them and go excell in every way to prove to yourself if thats what your after. But remember-quittin is NEVER an option, and should be stricken from your vocabulary.

thats if you quit during selection or the Q-course. although even that can be wavered. since he never made it to selection, he does not fall under that category.
