12 Second Club - Bye Bye 12s.... Got My 11 sec Pass (CAM ONLY).. New Personal Best

Last night I went to GLD and finally got my 11 sec time slip :)

Only thing that changed from the last time I ran, to this time was, I now running M/T ET Street DRs.. 26x10.5x16 (255/50/16)

I ran 6 times, i will break it all down.. I do have some vids of me running my buddies 04 cobra.. I will host the vids later and put them up :)

That's good to hear. Great times and looks like you still have alot of room for improvement. I think you can go 11.7-11.5s if you get your 60' down.

congrats on the new best. I really like that mph. The specs for that cam seem very similar to one that was suggested to me. How streetable is it? How does it sound? Any surging at all. Did you have the car dynoed before the cam install?

I agree about those 60' times but if you are on a 10-bolt i can understand why. that top end MPH shows you definately have gooood power,congrads!

No one speced the cam out to me :lol: I did a shiit ton of research befor i chose this cam.

IMO with this cam it drives better than stock. Again for it to be streetable it is all about the tune :) I have no surging, and i will post an idle vid. Still need to up load my track vids.

Before the cam, the car dynoed 331/340. After the cam 419/385

Thanks a lot. Wish i did not have my 10 bolt. Ohh well in time i will get a 12 bolt

I absolutely luv the way that cam sounds. If the driveability is close to stock with no surging at all...I may have found the one I've been looking for.

Drives great, no surging.. Since my original dyno i added 42# injectors, 85mm MAF/LID..

I will be upfront and honest with, i had to go back and get it tuned about 5 times b/c my cam is cut on a 110+4 (10* of overlap) that made it harder to tune. But it was well worth it. I love this cam

Very nice man congrats on 11's. -415' DA omg I hate you guys. I have yet to run in better than 2800 DA :(. It doesn't help I am in the PNW and at 2300' elevation. Can you describe how you launched? What rpm and it sounds like you slipped it quite a bit.

That's what I am trying to get first 11's. I am putting heads/ 224/228 cam in so hope to get your numbers then.

Good runs! Was your clutch hating you by the end of the night? Sucks slipping it that long with the stock gears, but you have to if you don't want to bog it down.
