hey guys i got a honda motor from i guy i did some work for i know this is an fbody site i got one of my own but im trying to sell this asap as im trying to get my license back. so a little about the motor

its a D16A1 DOHC with matching 5 speed trans they both have about 80k miles on them the motor is mostly complete and im only asking 500 bucks for both if intrested let me know. here is my craigslist ad sale-whvjv-1352540798@craigslist.org

D16 is a sohc. B16 is a dohc. what car and what year is the engine and trans out of?

the zc series d16 is a single over head cam but its a d16a1 it is out of a 87 integra

and it says d16a1 right on the block

umm.... NO

most ZC engines are SOHC
but the one available in the 86-89 (or 90) Acura is a DOHC ZC engine
I've got one in my 1988 Integra


I wanna say it was rated at 113hp

mine's got almost 190K miles on her,
uses no oil, has no issues going 120+mph

just needs a new (or cleaning) Idle Air Control Valve
