Hey guys, I just got out of the marines recently and am looking for a school with a good automotive program that is covered by the MGIB... or perhaps something like SAM if they are covered. I should be getting a federal LEO job here pretty shortly but I am just looking in case the job falls through and I need something to do.

Thanks in advance

I was under the impression that UTI and NTI schools were covered by the gibill. But what you get will be the same certifications than if you went to a regular technical school in your local area.. Just cost more because its a more flashy type school with better equipment. They've got every tool for every little thing.

Im pretty sure SAM is covered, you can use your GI Bill for it.

We (SAM) accept the GI Bill. If you're looking at getting into a career in the motorsports industry, check us out. You can email me with questions or go to our website www.samracing.com

Damnit again. I'm really kicking myself after just now seeing that you guys at SAM support the GI Bll. I remember flipping through mags when you guys were "new" and the hoss was "stock".

I'm doing this to myself LOL

The old GI Bill works for vocational schools like the ones mentioned. The new one does not, so don't get it if that is your plan. I'm in the same boat right now, and have to stick with the old one.
