Hey guys, I have built my share of forced induction cars over the years, but I have a couple of questions here. I found a local 93 V6 camaro for a steal of a price. I normally wouldn't look twice at it, but for the price, I figured what the hell.. It supposedly need a fuel pump, but I'll verify that when I look at it.

I figure if I buy it, one of three things will happen- 1) I will fix it and resell it for profit, 2), I will gut it and build a turbo v8 drag car out of it or 3) I will play with the v6 and turbo that. I have seen people have good luck with turbo-ing the v6 for a fun street car, but how would I go about tuning on a 93?? I have HP Tuners, but that car isn't supported. Is it even worth playing with a turbo on the 6 (from a tuning perspective), or should I just stick to #1 or #2 of my options?

I don't need this car, nor would I really want it otherwise, but for the price, it is one of those "can't hurt to buy it and worry about it later" things.. Thanks.
Joe

I think the 3.4 V6 motors are junk, if's it's a steal of a price I would try to turn a profit on it ;)

Yeah, like I said, I have a feeling it will be either #1 or #2 of my options. I honestly don't know anything about the v6 cars and assumed it was a 3.8, if it is a 3.4, it is absolutely useless to me. I am checking it out this weekend and will go from there. I am thinking maybe just toss a fuel pump in it and try to sell it for ~$1500 obo and if it doesn't sell, then it will become a project car- been looking for one anyway :D.

A 93 will be a 3.4. I have a 94 Bird witha 3.4, has 247,000 miles. Gets 27 on the highway at 70. Not great #'s, but better than anything I had except the Geo. haha. Mine is a dd and I will keep it that way. Wouldn't try to hot rad the 3.4. Lack of performance parts.
