Does anyone know where I can get a drawing of the top without the cloth.
I have something sound like a catch on the passagers side as the tops going down. It does not happen going up.
Thanks

I dont have a diagram op the top but I had something like that happen a while ago. Its easier if you have someone put the top up and down while you look in there. Every time I would put the top up and down you could tell it was catching on something and popping. Mine ended up snaping part of the piece off. It didnt hurt anything. Im guessing the top was just a bit misaligned or something. I will look and see if I can find where it was. I hope that helps. If you have more questions just ask. Oh and the top still works fine.

Thanks Lexer,
Yeah I just do not want the top ripped or anything as it is a 11 year old top in excellent condition.

if anyone cares I finally got my wife outside to let the top up and down for me and found the problem.
With top up there is a bolt on each side of the car about half way up the rear of the door glass that bolts the top frame to a piece of plastic that pivots as the top goes up and down.
The bolt on the pass side was almost all the way out and the sleeve that the frame pivots on was out of the whole.
Tightened it back up and checked the drivers side it was fine and no more popping sounds.

Just checked AllData for a diagram and wasn't seeing anything of real use. Could just be that I don't know exactly what I'm looking for since I don't have a convertible.

I was looking for a lay out of how thr frame for the top was put together so I would know all the pivot points.
It would still be nice to find one but as I said I got it fixed.

Thanks for the efforts:chug:

Yeah it's a 11 year old top and is in great condition so the last thing I need is something to come loose a put a hole in it.
