Well due to recent events happening with my race program, I really have to move this stuff...

FOR SALE - 1970 Firebird - $11,000 OBO

This car is very straight and in mint condition. It was restored in the early 90s and only has ~4000 miles on it since then. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The body, paint and underbody are perfect with no rust whatsoever. It is registered as a Formula Firebird. It has the original Formula 12 bolt posi rear end with I believe 3.06 gears. Currently the motor in it is the original 250ci Inline 6 that was completely rebuilt during the restoration and runs great.

I bought this car 3 years ago because of what great shape it was in and the only thing I wanted to change on it was the motor. My wife and I have been street driving the car in nice weather only for the past 3 years but 99.99% of it's time is spent relaxing in my garage. The engine runs great and it is very reliable. The car also drives like it is new. When it was restored the entire suspension, motor and drivetrain was also rebuilt. It makes for an excellent cruiser and seems to get a ton of attention from all age groups no matter where you go with it.

FOR SALE - ~500hp 346ci Carbuerated LS1 Engine and Parts - $3,000 OBO

I also have a 346ci carbuerated LS1 engine ready to go in the above mentioned car. I have about 80% of the parts required (motor, intake, holley 750carb, power steering pump, water pump, individual coils, etc.). All that is required to complete the conversion is oil pan, headers, exhaust, flywheel, starter, torque converter and a fuel system.

The motor is an aluminum block 346ci LS1 with ported factory heads, Ls6 valves, Comp Cams 918 valvesprigns, Custom Lunati camshaft, Ross forged pistons. With the GM Performance single plane carbuerated intake on it, it should make in the 500hp range. These exact heads on an EFI 346ci LS1 made ~380hp at the rear wheels with an automatic transmission.

The motor is brand new and has never been run. I have been wanting to get it into the car now for 2 years but I always seem to have other projects going on that take my attention and funds.

I will sell the car or engine/parts seperately.

If interested, we can talk price and more details.

I can be contacted at mattglas@cogeco.ca or by Private Message. Also if you want to let me know a phone number I can reach you at, I will give you a shout.

Here are some pics of the car.. I will try to get some of the motor up soon... If you would like pics of anything else, please let me know.

Someone is getting a great deal and a sweet car.

Clean car. I used to have a 70 Formula 400 *sigh* Sold it for a price so ridiculous I wont admit it now but that was 20 yrs ago. Thats one clean car though man I'd be all over it too if I wasnt trying to practice self restraint on buying more toys. In fact, I need to purge I barely get time to play with the ones I have. Boat only went in the water twice this summer makes me wonder why I work so hard to pay for all this stuff. I digress...

Curious though how did the 12 bolt get in there?

Thanks guys.

The car is actually a Formula but I think when it was restored in the early 90s the guy had a 6cyl Firebird as a parts car and some of the parts (motor) went into this one.

The car is gone and getting a 455 transplant.

The Ls1 motor is still available, at least I think it is.
