Dyno & Bench Racing Forum - totally hypothetical

so i was reading the thread about the GTR and Zr1 and the vid had the ZR1 putting 505 to the wheels. ok so if its putting that down and tipping the scales at what low 3ks. if my car ends up making mid 500's plus the 100 shot i have. what do you guys think the outcome of that race would be. and I'm not bagging on the ZR1 at all, we're talking a bout my heavily modded car vs a freakin stock car. i know I'd be at a easy 400 pound weight disadvantage but on spray I'd have a good 150hp advantage.

Umm I would say, it would be a good run.....ZR1 probably has the gearing though, so in a 1/4 mile maybe but I think in the 1 mile he would still take you....

Let's assume that you're going to make 500rwhp N/A (very low estimate).
Throw a 100 shot on top of that and you're going to make 600rwhp...and
a ton of torque. Let's also assume that you're race weight is 3,600lbs...3,400lbs
with a 200lb drive. I'm not sure what kind of trans you're running so I will guesstimate
a trap speed of 132mph. A 1.5 60' with a 132mph trap with a 3,600lb car would be
around a 10.50-10.60 or so.
