Southern Members - LR Cruise to LSX Shootout....

Who's going? It'd be sweet to have a large group pool over together! I was planning on heading over early Saturday morning (17 October). Maybe meet up somewhere at 5:30ish so we can be on the road by 6 AM like last time.

Any ideas or suggestions, post 'em up here. Let's get a crowd and make it a fun day :chug:.

I may go. I just don't know right now tho. Texas mile is that day, EFI race State championhip at Centerville. So really don't know yet.

I'm in I'll prob hop on the dyno but stay away from the track. it would just be embarrasing with the condition of these tires but we'll see.

Yeah, we were just about there when either Zach or Nick decided to race that SRT-4. lol. Threw my car in 2nd to catch up & I guess the force of it shifted the ice and you know the rest. We'll get some regular coolers this time or i'll just take it easy.

im gonna have to be careful tho...my tires in the rear are bad. I def wont be able to run ANYONE from a dig. Even a low roll my be a problem w/o TC on.

How about Protho Junction between 5:30 and 5:45? I'm not familiar with the gas stations there, but someone name one and that can be the spot.

There's not alot of room in the proto ghetto there Ben..you may need to move it if there is alot of people.

It will definitely take longer than 2 hours to get there....it takes longer than that when you're by yourself and there's no traffic. Figure in at least one bathroom stop. First LSX time trial is 9:15, and I intend to be in the stands and ready for it, not trying to get in the gates and find a parking spot.

Ill also have 3 empty seats if anybody wants to ride. I wish i could have a new rear end put in by then but thats a super long shot. Let me know what you guys think.

no thats just it...i HAVENT been burning out:mad:....Mike put those michelin pilot sports on my car back in march of this year!!!! I swear i have only done 1 burn out on these tires and it wasnt longer than 5 sec! I dont know why the hell they got ate up up so fast. Im goin back to my eagle f1gs d3's

Have you tried any of these local shops to see if they could get the tires you want any faster? Or there's absolutely no other tire you want that you could purchase locally? This is too much fun to miss out on! All those chirps out of 1st & 2nd gear add up! :lol:

Believe me Im pissed:mad:....but i went to tire rack and i caught the eagles on SALE!!!! instead of $307 a tire i got them for $163 a tire:D. The bad news is they wont be here in time. I wanna go but that price cut is TOO good to pass up.
