Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - gto help

my buddy has an o4 gto automatic its cammed with 1.6 rockers typhoon intake 30lb injectors and a 100 shot dry the car isnt tuned but ran a 13.7 at the track last week on spray at 110 mph my question is does a tune make that much of a difference or does anyone have suggestios of what the problem is?

LMAO, He ran WHAAAAATTTTT!!!! I ran 13.2 bone stock..... Driver mod needed or hes spinning past the 1000' mark....

was he spraying on the 13.7? :/

tell him not to dump the clutch off the line at 5000rpms

Its auto get a 3600 stall also

He DEFINITELY needs a tune if he is cammed and is spraying a dry shot on that GTO. Damn. He is still on the stock tune? What in the world...

yes, a tune will make a HUGE difference. New cam, Injectors (why?), intake (assuming you mean manifold not CAI) and NO2. All that is a lot different what from a stock tune was made for.

Also what tires is he running? Drag bags and or springs will help as well. Even if car was tuned traction can/will be a problem.

stock rockers are 1.7. why did he go down- defeats the purpose of a cam. I ran 11.22 @ 126mph with full exhaust, 100 shot, 1.85 rockers, slp tune & drag radials

He's lucky he isn't picking up peices of his motor. GET A TUNE!

noyz1 you got 11.22 with only 1.85 rockers full exhaust tune radials and 100 shot did u ha ve the stall when you ran that and how long have you had the 3600 stall ?
