Im not to sure what the stock stall on a goat is, but if I were to guess I would say maybe a 1500 or so.... If I were to upgrade the stall, I would go with a 3500....

I'm running a 3,800 in mine and love it! don't forget if you do a stall you NEED a tranny cooler, and I'd highly recomend the beast sunshell and a shift kit

Think the stock converter is about 1800 RPM stall. For the cam you listed, minimum stall would be 3000-3200 RPM.

Yeah, tons of people running stalls like that or larger all the time. I took out my tranny with 15,000 original miles and a 3600 stall but I seem to be more unlucky in the trans department than most others. With a proper sized trans cooler the life of the transmission will be greatly extended vs. running no cooler.

I ran a Thunder Racing 224 cam for a year no problem with a stock converter. That's about as big as I would go before getting a higher stall converter though. I now have a 2800 RPM stall with that same cam.

I also had 243 heads on the car in that video (and of course a tune). You can sometimes find 243 heads (off a LS2 or LS6) for $400 to $500.
