So I FINALLY made points for my 5, but come to find out the stupid ass female at the S1 DID NOT UPDATE ALL MY SHIT!
I went in there about a month ago and gave her a couple new awards, and told her I had just updated my 3355 and asked if she could fix my ERB up using my 3355 and she said no problem.
Well she didnt do it, and just costed me about 50 points!
I know she wont admit to any wrongdoing, will just claim I never said shit. So how can I go about making this right? Can I request an audit and a backdating on my points? Or am I doomed to be an E4 in signal forever?

I have seen people get a Memo Signed by there LTC for back dating points. If you can prove you had the points prior to cut off and your 3355 was updated and S1 just didnt do there job you should be able to still get promoted.

GO TALK TO IG!!! My S1 did they EXACT same thing to me earlier this year! They tryed to say it was my fault and and good luck next month. I went to IG after everybody including my 1SGT blew me off and that got people moving! They'll do an exception to policy and your rank will get back dated. Mine had to go all the way to brigade level so it might take a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.

I would fight it to IG, just remember this is YOUR promotion, an this is the reason why I really hate lazy S1 fucks. This is why you have to constantly harrass S1 to make sure they do they're job otherwise you will get ignored-ive seen it happen ALOT, sorry to hear man but like i said-take that shit to IG.

Youre screwed unless you have a da200 (record of transmittal) to back you up as proof of you turning in the items. Always ask for paperwork proving they did what they should of or at least have proof you turned it in. When it comes to your career you have to stay of top of everything yourself, nobody else cares about your career.
You can probably go up the chain then the IG route and you may have a good chance of it working.
In the future use a DA 200 for any important paperwork that you turn in to anyone.
