Alright so I have spent the last hour searching to no avail. I am currently working on upgrading my lighting to HIDs and decided to tackle another problem. I have 2 Trans Am and I have never liked how the lights raise and lower. They are too fast and create alot of noise. So im curious if there is a way to possible slow down the headlights, maybe adding a resistor?

I've got a friend who is going to rig up some sort of like bump stops to put on the inside of the lid. That way when the headlight cover "slams" down, it hits those and kind of cushions the blows/reduces noise. I'll get him to post some pics.

bump stops seemed to work until they fell off my friend says.

Im going to try putting a resistor in the circuit or a rheostat so I can adjust the input voltage, thus the speed. The bump stop is helpful but not a total solution.
