Cool, thanks for the info. I didn't think they were making any at all.

Another example of a aftermarket GM company taking the easy way out. Hmm lets see, your buying a 30k G8 and throwing a supercharger on it, and now your paying almost 50k for it. WTF. Why dont they stop being lazy and do some real work on these Heads, Cam, Intake. All of these newer Special Editions are just sad, all there doing is throwing a supercharger on them and calling them a special edition.
And yes i know that they did brakes, exaust, and some other odds and ends, but that should be part of a good Stage 1 or Stage 2 car anyway.
They take the "cheap" way out and supercharge it to make a lot of power and warranty it. Not being lazy at all as it is already emissions legal.
If you change the cam, heads, anything, you have to spend millions of dollars to certify those mods.
I can't imagine them selling 100 Firehawks. Probably closer to 50.

No matter how you cut it, its crap. Look what Berger did to cars, and look what Carl Black did to cars (not one of the 3 phases had a supercharger on them) and they still put out more power, those were and still are true special editions. This car is nothing more then a Supercharged G8 with a paper from SLP saying they threw a supercharger on it and the guys name that did it. Oh and on top of that he signed the car with a silver marker.
$24,000 for the Hawk package? Holy sweet Jesus. Do you know what I could do with that money? A hell of a lot more than they did. What a con job

The important thing . . . MAINTAINS the 10 year 100,000 Mile powertrain warantee . . . as well as the 3/36 BTB . . .

I hated the car at first but after seeing it in person it looks ok. That car is at the dealership in my town. Would i spend 50k+ for it hell no i would buy a vette or Gt500. The car is what it is, if the car was so popular it would have sold along time ago, to me it looks like a bad investment. The four door Firehawk thing is what i hate. I will always have my 2000 Firehawk because its a true Firehawk not a Grand Prix with cool stickers:D
