Southern Members - plz help baton rouge la

anyone know anyone who can take the limiter of my 95z28 camaro in baton rouge l.a. besides thunder raceing. i whould realy appreciate the help if you can. i wanna see my options before i spend 200 bucks on something this car is already suppose to do:nod:

You're either going to have to have a shop tune the Camaro, or purchase a hand held tuner in order to turn the speed limiter off. I'm assuming this is the limiter you are referring to. Speed limiters are set in many cars. You're going to have to be willing to spend between $300 and $400. Thunder Racing and Futral Motorsports are the main shops in this area. Keep in mind a tune will do more than simply turn off the speed limiter.

Geoff at EPS does a basic tune for 200 bucks which includes removing the top end limit. When you get ready to do heads and cam he will ony charge you the difference between your basic tune and full tune.

Geoff does the tuning for us as well. If you talk to him and thats the only thing you want done, he may give you a discount but I can't speak for him. Other than that, since he does our tuning, the pricing is the same.
