I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I have a CTS-V that I'm putting a 6.0L block into right now. I got a call yesterday that the mounting plates that the engine mount would go into is different between the LS6 block and the LQ4/9 iron block. Does anybody know what's different and what do I need to do to fix it?
I came across these online, but I've never heard of the shop before:

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Those are mounts to put an LSx motor into a Jeep. Not sure how that would help your application.

I wasn't sure, that's why I asked. But either way, I'm trying to find some info on getting that 6.0L block in there, and the only answer I seem to be getting is that I have to fab something, but I can't imagine why they would be different.

I know, my D1SC is so ready for it :secret2:
But apparently the stupid motor mounts are different. I talked to the guys at LMR, they're just going to fab something up - I just didn't want to if I didn't have to....:mad::mad:

I thought the mounts on all LS motors were in the same place?
