Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - 05 Gto vs 2010 camaro ss

Hey guys i was wondering if anybody has seen this race or not? My gto has exhaust and a cold air intake and I think ima race one real soon but kinda want a ideal of how it will end

I would think it would be a driver's race even with the mods you have, which doesnt boost power gains by much unless you have full exhaust with a tune. both cars are low 13 second cars.. Let us know when you do race one, I'm curious as well.

yea prolly this weekend were gona do it I agree prolly a drivers race

def a drivers race because I had one beat til about 3rd and he started pulling so with the ls2 should be a good race!

A Buddy of mine His Brother has SS he was a Auto. Was not even aware that option was offerd in the SS Model:confused: Needless to say from a Dig I took him By what he says was 2 cars or so we went to 115MPH before I let off. And From a 20 ROLL it was just about the same outcome for him :( I Myself was Shocked. I think Those maros Need a Retune & a few Mods to really wake them up.

BTW I am a 05 M6 with a CB & Intake ..On 275's out back

Ya lol.... I was thinking WTF is this guys problem.... Mustang guys are pretty bad, mostly the teenage drivers though....

I raced him tonight 3 times all 3 I couldn't hook up good but the closest was me beatn him by a fender the other times about a car and a half or so...he coudnt shift well eather tho..but I was suprised I acomplished my goal

Pretty close ET wise... Im running 12.2 @ 115 mph......

ive raced 3 of them now a black, white, and grey. i beat all 3 of them by at least 2 cars by the time i hit 110

all ive got done is some bolt ons and some headers

My friends 06 Auto GTO with muffler delete, Ported throttle body, home made cold-air beat a stock 6speed SS by 1 1/2 lengths from a 50.

The auto SSs have less HP than the manuals.
But I've been trying to get any SS to play with me an no one will. I'm sad.

I feel your pain, everytime i ran into one that wanted to go it was a V6 :(
Worse feeling ever was when i used to drive my extra commuter car, a 1991 Civic hatch 4 speed (cost less then a grand and got over 30mpg while keeping the miles on my goat low) and i would always, ALWAYS run into terminators or M3s that were ready to go, i sold the civic soon after as i realised how much i drive and that i might as well have some fun
