How did you guys enjoy all that rain in atlanta? The desert has been nice so far...
Ok Ron or any other LSx guru's help me out here. I have a 99 Tahoe 4x4 that is supposed to have a 4l80e. When the crappy vortec tree fiddy goes out I want to replace it with a 6.0l, I know it will bolt up to the tranny, but what TQ converter to use? It will get all the bolt on's with a small 224/224 cam. Also what transfer case do I need so I can get rid of the gay push button 4 wheel drive?

You need to hit up the 4x4 forums. Nobody in here is going to be able to answer those questions, as nobody (that I know of) has swapped an LSX style motor in a Vortec powered Tahoe.
The Vortec is a damn good motor. You're better off just throwing a basic rebuild on it, with a mild heads/cam. It'll be a TQ monster.
Why do you always get a wild hair to spend shit tons of money on 10-15 yr old pieces of junk? :)

It's not as easy to work on as an LSX based motor, but it's not that bad. For the money spent, you're better off building that motor rather than spending a fortune doing a conversion.
I built/installed a Vortec 350 out of a 1500 pickup into a 92 Camaro RS (305 powered TBI piece of junk) about 2 years ago. Car runs mid 12's all day long through an automatic/2800 stall.

The rain sucked. Washed out a road I take to work, so this whole week I"ve had to detour an extra 15 minutes each way. :bang:
I don't know what's worse, rainfall that wont stop, or considering cactus as your shadetree in the front yard.
