Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - borla exhaust?

i recently just bought a 06 gto and was offered a borla exhaust CB in good condition for a cheap price... i dont think i can pass up the deal but have heard bad things. Any suggestions??

I haven't heard anything bad about them. Some people don't like the 5" tips, but I think they look good.

I put Borla on my 04 and it wasnt as loud as I wanted with just the cat back. Ive heard that they are pretty loud with headers though...too bad I sold mine before I got a chance to put headers on it.

I've had one on my 04 for 3 three years, exiting both the left and right sides. Once it was seasoned the tone got deeper and sounded better.

One of the local GTO owners ('06) has the Borla cat back and he likes it very much. I don't think you could go wrong with that system.

i get TONS of compliments on the look of 5 inch tips on my 05. I bought the car used with exhaust already in it......i think it sounds great (mellow and deep) but I think that it is toooooo quiet and thats why im going to put cutouts and Long Tubes soon....

it would be nice have those tips with a corsa sport cat back
