Ok, I know it's not a huge issue...yet, so this is more of a venting thread than anything. I'm in Iraq righ now with 1-82 CAV out of Oregon, I'm in the TX Nat'l Guard, and extended to say with Oregon. I just got a few emails on AKO saying that I'm going to 21E school in December. Yeah, about that, I'll be in Iraq till April. How in the hell do they not know that I'm still here?
Shit happens in the military all the time. I'm in the Navy and my school was a year long before I went out to my first ship. There was a waiting list to get classes up. I knew a girl that fell through the crack and was removed from the waiting list.....it took her two years to get into a class.
Hey man... You're with the 41st guys? Extended from TX? Nice, I'm attached to Oregon as well... Good luck out here.
