I made a reply, in someone's thread, about the idea of selling my moser 9", and I got quite a few replies. Figured I would make a thread and see if I got any biters.

First off there is nothing wrong with the rear end, only reason why I'm thinking of selling it, is because I want to go with a fab 9" and I am iffy as to if the axles would hold with my new motor. Figured I could just sell mine then and do some upgrading.

Here's the info

Moser housing
moser 31 spline axles
detroit locker
4.30 gears
painted red
currently has lt1 backing plates on it... if you want to save some hassle, I can leave those on, for whatever the cost of a set of lt1 backing plates are.
longer arp wheels studs (I can't remember the exact length off the top of my head, I got them so I could run my draglites legally, I can find out if it's that big of a deal).
about 10k miles on it, except for the ring and pinion, about 2k on those. I decided I wanted something a lot more aggressive than what I originally got (3.70's).

I'm asking 2075 for it. I can also include a UMI tunnel mounted torque arm with driveshaft loop (again, it's red). It is the newer and improved style. Also I have a denny's nitrous ready driveshaft that I can include that I used with the rear end.

As for something of this size, I'm not really looking to ship, for obvious reasons. Hence it being in the eastern classifieds. I don't need to sell it, it's just an idea going through my head.

Is the center section iron or aluminum?
Does it have control arm relocation brackets?
Are the gears quiet/ any funny noises?
Does the $2150 include the driveshaft?
Thanks!

gears are quiet... no funny noises, other than the typical locker sounds
