Before I add anything else I need a new clutch bad. I'm only putting down 356rwhp ('06 GTO) and anytime I take off fast it goes to shit after first. I'm wondering how hard it is to install by myself. I've installed headers and a dry nitrous system (first time on both to ever do). I've also installed a vararam but a monkey could do that.

How much harder is it to do if the only thing I've done with the tranny is changed the fluid? Also when you order a clutch do you need anything extra that they don't usually sell with the clutch, not tools but like a slave cylinder?

your clutch kit should include a pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, and a pilot bearing at the least. some clutch kits will also include a flywheel. if you reuse your stock flywheel, you will need to get it resurfaced

if your going to have the tranny out, you might as well replace your slave and/or install a tick speedbleeder, but neither is necessary. you have an 06, so i really wouldnt worry about the slave

changing a clutch isnt that hard. as long as you have patience and good set of extensions and swivels, you should be good. if you got a tranny jack, that makes life a lot easier. if you got access to a lift, you shouldnt be complaining one bit. if you were able to install headers, you should be competent enough to install a clutch.

I got jack stands, tons of extensions and tools. I'll rent a tranny jack. I plan on getting a new flywheel. Will be getting a Monster 3 in the future. Gotta save because it's an expensive clutch but I've heard nothing but great things from people that have them. And I'm going to do the clutch bleeder hose. Anything else worth doing while the tranny is out that's not going to break the bank?

as said slave for sure. if you don't you'll regret it later. Harbor Freight has a pretty good tranny jack that's like $70 on sale that will pay for itself quickly
