Drag Racing Results - Cam only LS6 M6 in the 10's about time

Today i went out to US41 in I.N. I went there today to try and run a 10sec run.
And i met my goal of this year today.

Had some good air today to waiting to see what the air was when i made my pass @ 18:15:30 Oh and the car has more left in it the 60 was weak and i think i can get more out of it but i will see.

Sweet deal congrats!!!!!!!! I also ran a new PB this weekend. Now I just need some damn shocks and practice and hope to be near 10s NA by the end of the year

Congrats! That is great! What changes did you make to pick up .5 and 5mph? That is pretty huge. I see great air was a factor, but not that much.

I used to run 4.56s. At the track it pulled nice on a 28" tire, but on the street, it was not fun. You would row through 4 gears on a 26" street tire and be going like 80. So I went back to 4.11s. It hurt my 60' a bit, but I have yet to try it on a 26" slick, only DRs. I am going to try with the 28" slick, but my top end will hurt as well as 60'. I did pick up a 2-step though so I hope I can dial it in better out of the hole.

Rob,it looks like the drivers side front wheel it coming up higher than the pass side.You might want to adjust the preload on you drag bar to straighten it out.

You are pulling the wheels pretty hard. I think that is hurting your 60' as you are wasting a lot of time pulling the wheels rather than moving forward. May want to try tightenning up the rebound on the front shocks so it does not come up so high. Then you will move forward more instead of up.

I did haha the fronts are at 4 rears are at 5 ever since i did the gear swap it pulls them good. but it also moves forward really well i am trying to get a low 1.4x 60 i should get one this next time around but the car every pass is putting down a 1.48 60 so i am happy for it being a m6 car with out a slipper clutch doing a fast slip off the line no dump

wow how did I miss this? to many new 10's guys now. hahha thats moving, I love that pic. can you post up your dyno grafe? Have you tried moving the shifts up, and what happened? I didnt gain anything, but my cam is "smaller"

Then after spool/ rear shocks is stopped spinning. I turned it up to 6600 and got some 1.47- 1.455 then went to 6700 and got the 1.44 1.439. Only change made..... So see what that dose :)

thanx johnny i pulled my heavy mufflex spintech muffler and other odd's and ends looks to be close to 250lbs for this weekend sunday also i hope to have good track prep so i can set my 2step to 6600 or 6700 with my spool and i was running about 15 to 14psi in my M/T 10.5x28x15S slicks with the front shocks a 3 and rear shocks at 5 or 6 i have to check. and i am shifting at like 6600 or 6700 i am going to try 7000 and see what that will do as well. so there is alot left in my car cuz on the 10.88 pass the car with me in it was about 3300lbs so i hope to get it down to 3200 or less for sunday speed inc is having a track day so well See and dyno shet is posted below thanx for the tip's bro
