I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shawn and I live just outside of Dallas, Tx. I just purchased my first Cadillac, 2005 CTS-V. It is actually my first American car, and I absolutely love it. I've been on here a few days just reading and researching, and have been learning quite a bit.

I'm sure there is a thread here somewhere, but does anyone know of a good place to get a baseline dyno done around the Richardson/Plano area?

Welcome and congrats!!!
There is a thread on here where they had a dyno day in the DFW area. You might be able to find it.

You can go to HPP in Lewisville if that's not too far.
You bought the fastest color btw.

There is a thread on here where they had a dyno day in the DFW area. You might be able to find it.

Thanks, I'll check that out. It would be fun to go to a dyno day with everyone, and see what they're putting down.

I'm in! I'd like to see your car and hear how the exhaust sounds on it. It would give me a better idea on what I want to get.

based on his recent unfortunate events you may even be able to buy his exh for pretty cheap. just a thought

lol... im still crying on the inside! if they total it then i plan on taking the money and getting a supercharged V. they would prolly give me 19-22k for it! Im sure someone would part ways with a supercharged V for that price!!!.... coff...coff onebad:secret2: lol jk

Nice...I'm just outside Little Elm here. I didn't see a recent dyno day coming up but we do need to take the wifes V in to see what is has sometime soon!
