Competition Driving Mode? I followed the info from the sticky about holding down the Active Handling button, swithced from on to off, and then the Competition Mode poped up in the DIC. What does it do? Pros/Cons??

Competitive driving mode disables traction controll only. Active handling is still enabled. ABS is always on regardless of mode. That's in a nutshell...see link for more.http://corvetteactioncenter.com/tech/c5/activehandling.html

Competition mode is good for when you want to be in control of the launch but still want the active handling to take charge if you get out of line. A prime example is running down the dragstrip. Typically your 60' time (launch) will be slower if you leave with traction control turned on (assuming the car breaks traction). After the launch you would want the computer to help you out in the event your car tries to turn sideways.
