Paint & Body Work - Painter got some overspray on Powdercoated K-member, how to remove?

Like the title says... I've got a UMI Kmember powder coated black. I had the engine bay sprayed last week and got the car back today. There was some overspray on the Kmember. What's a safe way to remove it? I don't want to soften or harm the powder coat.

Start with denatured alcohol. If that doesn't touch it(which it probably won't), then gently use acetone. Acetone will not weaken or remove the powder, worst it could do is dull the gloss level if you rubbed too hard. Let the acetone do the work, by just lightly moving the rag back and forth until the paint is gone.

try a claybar...you would be surprised how it works. Iv used claybar to remove overspray before...it depends on how thick it is tho

If you can get to the areas easily then use body clay; it removes overspray!

Trust me guys, acetone will not physically harm properly cured powder. If you loaded up a rag with it and started rubbing like a madman you might knock some of the gloss out of the powder since it could get to the pigments(color) but it won't do squat to the resins(the coating itself)
