has anyone used one of these adapter where you can put a 2 pc crank in a 1 pc, i have a forged 2 pc crank what i would like to put in a lt1 block i have

It will work, but you might as well get the 2 piece block if you want less worries.

well its in a 2 piec gen i right now i just want to build a lt1 since i have some rods and heads and cam already

Well, the rods are the same, you will also need a different flywheel or flexplate. I think the LT1 balancer/pulley might still work.

I've put a 2-piece crank into a 1-piece block before, but it was on a 502 BBC. I don't see why it won't work in a LTx block. What exactly is your question?
