I am thinking of selling my c5 and my daily driver and getting a 2004 gto 6 speed and daily driving it. I wont leave it stock for to long. So what can a intake, headers, and cat-back gto run the the quater mile? Also what would it run with the above said mods plus 3.91's? Mid 12's possible i hope?

Well i will be freeing up a TON of money also. Not like it is going to be a even trade or anything.

They go for pretty close to the same price depending on miles and condition.....

My GTO is a 6-speed 04, mild H/C car, full bolt ons, 404 RWHP, VERY tame (can cruise at 900 RPM lol), great daily, gets 20ish combined, gets 24.5 on the highway (historically 24.5, its actually getting 2-3 MPG better since I installed the Tick master, apparently the worn stock one wasn't 100% doing its job).
I've owned multiple domestic sports cars, and I would say the GTO is the best daily I've had. More comfortable and confident than a mustang or F-body, more nimble than the any of the SRT-8s, it just feels like its better quality and more attention to detail than a mustang or F-body, and its got more space than a Vette....The T56 and LS1 are plenty stout, the IRS obviously handles better than the SRA cars, and the IRS holds up fairly well if you want to do straight line as well. As with all cars, it has its pro's and cons....but all things considered I think they make great dailies for car guys.

You're going to hate it. 99% of people who have gone from a 4th gen f-body to GTO only last about 2 years before they either switch back to a 4th gen or get a C5. I can't imagine going from a C5 to a GTO.
Not trashing the GTO, just saying if you used to a C5 or a f-body its very hard to get a GTO to grow on you. Now if you haven't owned an f-body or C5 and go straight into a GTO, you don't know any different and the car feels light years ahead of your old Grand Prix, or Accord, or VW, or <insert another name of a shit box>.
Just sell the daily driver and drive the Corvette all the time. You'll sell it in a few years anyways, might as well get your money's worth out it.
With those mods, you can hit mid 12's if the conditions are right. Good track prep and driving.
As far as daily driving, you'll find that the GTO is an excellent choice.

I guess im that 1%. I had a 99 T/A that i loved but i sold it and got my 04 GTO and i have no regrets. I like my GTO better then anything. The interior is 100% better it handles better, the engine and power are to me the same, the gearing is better though. To me its definately better then a F body... But again im the 1%.

Guess i fall into that 1% as well, I had a 383 stroked 3rd Gen Camaro and a Cammed bolton 4th Gen Camaro and wont look back, GTO is a 1000x better car, everyone and their mother has a 4th Gen.... GTO is just a better built car hands down and you cant argue that....

Yeah I have an 01 SS and an 04 GTO and the SS cannot hold a candle to anything the GTO has....its a much better built car, overall feels more stable, and it has similiar performance. (when both were stock comparisons)

All i can say is be ready to throw around an extra 500lbs in the turns compared to the vette. assuming the vette is a 6 speed, be ready to get 5 mpg less as a daily driver.
the gto will give you more room and versatility but now ay would i go from a vette to gto by choice.

i ran 13.3 stock. with headers and tune i ran 12.9. a catback and intake could be better spent on a stockish GTO. mid 12s is going to take a bit more. i also went from 2 different F-bods and they were buckets of bolts compared to the goat.
