1996 LT1 Motor 142,460 Miles. Would be an EXCELLENT swap candidate as all the small tedious parts have been replaced recently, rebuild it, cam it, and throw it in something fun.... It runs, but has a bad cam bearing I believe. It started and drove but had a knock, had good oil pressure when started cool but after about 20 or 30 minutes of driving it had little to no oil pressure at idle, my experience points to the a cam bearing, hence the LS swap. All gaskets replaced except valve covers, leaks not a drop of oil, and is very clean, definitely not like most oil ridden LT1's.... The head gaskets and rear main seal are genuine GM Goodwrench set. Intake manifold gasket, oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, injectors o-rings, throttle body gasket, header gasket, and water pump gaskets are all Fel-Pro. Has new water pump, ARP head bolts, new complete timing chain and set, new ignition coil, new oil pressure sensor, new ancillary belt, and new plugs, new wires... heads were recently skimmed true by Houston Engine and Balancing. All parts have LITERALLY less than 1500 miles on them and then this cam bearing problem happened. This motor will come with it all, from intake to oil pan, K-Member, steering rack and knuckle, PCM (no harness though) opti-spark, water pump, all belts and accessories to include AC pump. Im sure there is more I'm missing, have receipts for it all, its still in the car and can be heard running if you want... I don't plan on pulling it for a bit. Can get pics if interested... best to come see, hear it run....
Asking $900 for it all OBO, just realize I threw TONS of money and time into it right before the cam bearing problem.
