Just a great finish to an already awesome day :(

I was driving when I tried to roll my passenger side window from the driver side switch. . . . I get nothing.

Tried the switch on the passenger door, works just fine. . .

Get home, same shit. . . Try it one more time out of about 10, works fine.

Dead again.

Swapped the BCM. You gotta have a spare BCM when you own a Camaro :bang:

Works perfect. . . .

Swap the old one back in, works every time. . . . Really, WTF?

Opened the original BCM, looks perfect, no cracks at all.

Sounds like a balky window switch on the driver's side. If its exactly as you describe, t's not going to be related to the BCM.

If it happens again, try wiggling your finger side to side on the switch and see if the movement will get the switch to make contact.

ive heard this is common...?? well i have the same problem, but not as severe. my window just craps out before shutting completely then its stuck where ever it stopped. i believe it has to do with the wiring going to the pass window...

Maybe I suppose. . . I tried fucking with the switch, did nothing. . Then all the sudden it works just fine.

Ahh, I love owning a f-Body :)

sounds like a switch to me.... you may even have dust or dirt in there blocking off the contact. take the door panel off and see when or if your getting power from the switch. there really isnt anything else if could be... make sure your getting power to the switch as well. than you can easily diagnose where the problem is. (switch!)
