18-20k? 20-25?.........that difference in money is two different levels of cars....mileage and modifications. that gonna be what your looking at finding one at with 60k or less 18k-25k

the price doesn't really bother me just want to find something that me and my wife like and will enjoy. would really like to find one that is modded out just not sure how reliable the car will be when they start making some big hp #'s does anyone know what a good reliable hp goal would be but still have good streetablity and be dependable

once again depends on the prupose of the car, a maggie setup would make for a very tame daily drive but still make 450rwhp. if you go heads cam your gonna lose streetability but make good numbers. i would push these cars past 500rwhp without doind a built rear(7500 bucks from madman). wheel hop is the issue so you wont be able to do massive burnouts or dump the clutch at 4k at the track and expect everything to stay together(cant even do that stock with a V). if money is no option go buy a V2. hope this helps.

well guys i found me a one owner clean title black on black v w/45k mi. for $16500. i feel this is a pretty good deal but wondering if i should hold out for one that has a few mods. seems like with a little more money i can get one that is modded out a little. i haven't really looked at what aftermaket items range in cost to see where is it better to get more bang for the buck. buying one stock and building or buying one already built. where do most of you guys get your parts from. any certain places that just speciallize in the v's

I'd jump at that car. Low miles and under 17k seems like a great deal.
