I raced this kid on the street in G8 and I rolled out on him like I would expect my car to, not too much not to little. And he pulls next to me when it’s over and says it’s a V6. When he pulled off I didn't see a GT badge but I think he was pulling my chain.
Anything else to look for on the outside to confirm it’s a V8?

I believe the v6 has different brake lights and wheels

GT has 4 exh tips. V6 only has 2.

V6 has red tail lights & V8 has clear/euro lights
V6 has 10 spoke wheels & V8 has 5

GTs (and GXPs) have chrome door handles from the factory.
However, if he did have the chrome handles, he could have just as easily purchased them from GM.
But yeah, red taillights, dual exhaust tips, and lack of chrome door handles.
