General LSX Automobile Discussion - Steam hose running to radiator issues.

I have been putting this off for too long. Whenever I first got my car the little nipple that runs from the throttle body to the radiator was cracked, a common issue. I was in a pinch and needed a radiator ASAP. Had to get one from NAPA as I could wait 2-3 days for a delco replacement. The radiator is working fine (6 months now) but it does not have that nipple. So I plugged it off.

I know several guys who have ran LS1's like this for long periods with seemingly no ill effects but I still worry.

Only option I can come up with is to tap into the overflow line. But wouldn't that just fill the overflow up? Or would the suction of the radiator keep sucking it up?

Why not just do the throttle body bypass and not worry about it. I think thst wht your talking about.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not what I am looking for. I actually have the stem hole plugged off with a vacuum cap because my radiator does not have the nipple on it. I have no where to run the hose from the throttle body (or stem pipe) too, because the radiator does not have a place for it. Everything else on the radiator was correct besides that nipple.
